3-State 3-Mountain
2003 Ride Results
The weather gods were good to us
this year and the 2003 3-State 3-Mountain Challenge was the biggest and most
successful event we have had. With 808 participants and 766 riders it set all
records for us. What a great time! And what wonderful participants. The sight of
cyclists lead by Mayor Corker and stretching as far as you could see was
something to behold.
Thanks to all who helped make this
event possible. We couldn't do it without every one of you.
Note: These results are not exact.
They are the best we could figure out. When riders came in as a group and didn't
display their numbers we may have missed some. Also there were duplicate numbers
in the 400-500 series. We thought the blue color would keep it from being a
problem but we often didn't get which color the number was. Also we had a few
duplicate numbers recorded and don't know what the error was. So please help us
out. If you
see information that you know is incorrect and can help us find the correct information, please
email Daisy at DaisyBRider@cs.com.
Thanks to the World of Color, finish line
photos should be available to all who passed through the finish. They will be sending out
proofs with instructions on how to purchase. Steve Thomas, one of our members, has
taken some great candid shots from the start and various places on the course. We'll get
some of those out on this site as soon as I can. If anyone has any pictures of the
ride and can send them to me, we would love to include them on this site.
Results are still under construction and
will be added as built.
Remember, this is all in fun. The object is to enjoy the ride.
