Chattanooga Bicycle Task Force
Second floor of the Development Resource Center
12:30 pm, 2nd Tuesday of each month
Come, be active in making our community bike friendly.
The Bicycle Task Force, sponsored by the Chattanooga Area Regional
Planning Agency, is a group of citizens and civil servants who are interested in promoting
cycling for recreation and transportation. The Task Force advocates bicycle transportation
and recreation projects such as greenways, bicycle paths, trails, and on-street bicycle
routes. The Task Force holds a voting position on the Executive Staff of the Chattanooga
Area Metropolitan Planning Organization for Transportation Planning (MPO); The MPO is the
local body that distributes federal transportation funds to local road, highway, and
public transportation projects.
The Task Force meets every second Thursday on the second floor of the new Development
Resource Center at 1250 Market St in room 2B. We welcome any interested individual to come
and participate in our meetings.
